? (Tammy interview)

By Tom Morton (28 March, 1995, The Scotsman)

Afterwards, I bring up, as I've been longing to, the subject of KLF, Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauthy (sic), who persuaded Tammy to sing the epic line: "We're justified and we're ancient and we're bound for Mu Mu Land," on one of their extraordinary singles, before taking the profits from their entire musical career to the island of Jura, a million pounds in cash, and burning it. Tammy and George are virtually speechless. "Well those boys are just stone NUTS!" says Tammy, wonderingly. "The last time I saw them they said they had just recorded the Red Army Choir singing Que Sera Sera! But I think I did that record with them for the right reasons."
